i still havent gotten over SEX AND THE CITY yet though i watched it a week ago(?) because i think, the movie portrayed what women want and fear most at the same time.
and of course the wardrobe, carrie's walk in closet ..ahh i cant help but gush over it. and not forgetting, the great friendship which i cant help but teared a little because it got me reminded of my own girlfriends.
how they'd meet up regularly over breakfast, lunch, dinner and how carrie went over to miranda's for new year, after miranda gave her just one call in the middle of the night when she was asleep. and how charlotte gave the most INTENSE LOOK when big left carrie at the altar. and hahahahah " i curse the day you were born" and charlotte is beyond lovable the fact that she literally screeches at everything and everyone. and of course she wouldnt eat/drink anything apart from that pudding in mexico. she's the comedy underdog in this movie.
i think louise from st louise played by hudson, she gave the ghetto street style girl such class, ten notches up. and thats what i love about her.
and samantha during her speech at carrie's wedding reception, the one she went "hey im speaking down here" hahaha. and the fact that she couldnt go on with the relationship because she missed herself the most , and that i think takes at lot of courage to do so. thats why they say love yourself first before loving others. and i take my hats off her , that she eats so she wouldnt cheat.
i loved that scene too where carrie wanted to pack her wardrobe before shifting and the three other girls played judge, whether her clothes are to be kept or thrown away.
and of course the vera wang dress and carrie's photoshoot. and how carrie used big's reading glasses instead of getting her own because "i have yours". and the love letters, and apology love letters by big. and the beethoven love letter,
"forever thine,
forever mine,
forever ours"
and how carrie went through the aftermath of being left by big because he got scared for the third time. and miranda, she..is .. such a great woman.
i think there are reviews out there to how.. long and dreary the movie was. but im still giving it 4 bites.
